Nice article but he kept on saying Lou played 16 seasons.

All the Second Basemen listed were with the years they were starters.

If they don't correct the number of RBI's in his career, Gehringer had 1,427 RBI's.

Whitaker played in 11 games 1977. 1994 in 92 games, 1995 in 84 games.
It looks like the article means a starter has to have at least 100 games starting. idk
but even so 11 games isn't a starter for that year.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess nothing in the scene was taped in Detroit - MAYBE the exterior of the door, but a location person could find a door like that in LA.

McAuliffe with 2nd baseman when I started following the Tigers, and he was there a while.

He's pretty high on the list, cool.

Whitaker was awesome, but for me McAuliffe be the picture of the Tigers' second baseman.
