The Unofficial Official Michigan vs Iowa thread

the defender was early...so what? if you run the football, which they've been doing well, then you don't have to deal with that.

And if Pearl Harbor wasn't bombed Europe might look different.

Right, so why are people bitching about the defender being early?

What does Pearl Harbor have to do with the Soviets winning the war?

"He is playing well"?

What do you expect him to say? "He's playing like shit and is losing this game for us?" I don't care what he says to a fucking reporter, the only person he needs to say shit to is his team.

i don't think Denard is playing that bad. Many of his missed passes have been drops. The TO's are partially his fault. Sometimes he just tries to hard.

I should have clarified, I don't think he's losing the game for us but he's not playing well at all. I was just trying to say that it doesn't matter what Hoke says to the reporter. If we can stop them to start the 3rd and make some adjustments we can pull this out, we're much more talented and a better team than them but we're just playing like shit.

I don't understand why Denard is having so much trouble gaining yards on the ground this year. They all seem to come on one play. He always seems to get bottled up.

Because the entire D is keying on him big time now and he's not making them pay through the air, well that and our offense has a tendency to get very predictable.

I agree with you.

I guess we can't talk in 'ifs' otherwise some idiot is going to make some comment about Pearl Harbor or his Aunt having balls.

Its called 'analyzing.' Where would we be if we couldn't look at 'ifs'?

Well, they aren't running him enough...I know, crazytalk, but runners get in rhythms.

He is partially to blame, because on a lot of those zone-reads, he is making bad reads and handing off the ball when he should keep it or running it when he should hand it off. His brain seems to have regressed. Maybe they're putting too much info into his head.

Anybody watching the State game and see the PI that just got called in the endzone? It's beyond laughable that they call that but two blatant PI's against us are ignored.

MSU is at home and so is Iowa.

I didn't realize that the same refs were in both games? Do they have some type of star trek transporter?

True enough, still fucking frustrating though

Yep, it's science.

Fitz has 9 for 46 yards....5 yards per carry. He needs to be getting it 25 times per game. Give defenders a RB that they fear and PA improves and so do the option plays.

Yep. This is supposed to be manball. Instead we're getting a 2 qb system and passing every down.
