Thomas Ricks blast Fox news in a interview

Let's tell it like it is, those kids are dead because of Obama. I understand going to war is never an easy decision but at least give them help when they ask, or beg for help.

More corporate media non-sense. Maybe we'll be better off when Americans realize network news is on par with professional wrestling.

The left/right mask is just there to make money.

Professional wrestling is bad? Just kidding, I agree. I also think more Americans know this then you might realize but its a way for the left and right to say "I win".

Your idiocy is appalling Mitch.

would you admit at least admit that she may be right sometimes?

would you agree with the concept that someone could say "George W. Bush was a terrible president and the policies enacted over his tenure were terrible for most Americans" without being biased?

Yes, she is right as much as anyone else can be (which is never always), but she usually only tells one side of the story, or cherry-picks the facts. Rand Paul has been on her program several times, however, and she has treated him fairly. But her premises are flawed at the root, IMO.

So lets be clear... Last night i was watching basketball games and after the Indiana game became a blowout i turn it to Maddow's show... In a piece she outlined and it is just a theory of her and her show that republicans were going after Susan Rice because they want Obama to Nominate John Kerry who a lot of republicans now like..

Now just today i was listening on the radio and some Republican senator comes out after meeting with Rice again and when she was asked about John Kerry her immediate answer was " Oh we would vote for him".. So as you can see the republicans are trying to force Obama's hand into nominating Kerry so the state of Massachusetts would have to have a run off election for the vacated senate seat.. Good for MSNBC for that piece..it is spot on.

So Ricks was spot on when he blasted Fox about this affair and the this is just a ploy by the republicans.. Hopefully Obama will not cave into any of the republicans.. He won the people have spoken.. They want the Bush tax cuts to expire for everyone who makes over 200,000 if they are single and 250,000 for a family.. The republicans better be careful they are going to be boxed in and if they fail to compromise they are going to get crushed in the mid-terms no matter what history shows about midterms..

And if anyone thinks that liberals are not pissed off over 4 dead Americans in Benghazi they can kiss my ass.. Look at how many Bush's War has killed and no one blinks a eye at that or all the contractors that have been killed but for Senators like McCain and Fox news to keep politicizing this affair just to try and influence the president is flat out wrong..

CNBC isn't democratic. they're a business channel that gets all their hosts from the ranks of Wall Street people that flunked out of wall street, or former "bankers" who were only in it to land that rich wall street husband and promptly dropped out of the 9-5 routine once they did. the people that talk on CNBC know who butters their bread. the few times they do bring on anyone who criticises the conduct of the big banks, they end up screaming at the critic so he/she can't get a word in.

I think you probably realize now that I meant MSNBC. I agree the CNBC is not a left wing arm of the democratic party. It would be a mistake to say so, and I certainly believe no such thing.

One minor thing to add. Going on just pure viewer ratings. Fox has 9 of the top 10 cable news shows.

Watch, now we will get some comment about sheeple, or the one about just the dumb Southerners watching, but maybe it is just that there are so many more choices for liberal based cable news media, they all split the viewership.

Nah - couldn't be.

Can ignore most of this. The facts expressed herein are so laced with biased crap, drawing out the real facts here is left for the cryptographers.

I don't know what Ricks means when he uses the phrase "hyped by Fox."

I've heard/read plenty about Benghazi, and Susan Rice's Sunday morning talk show interviews, and McCain's and Lindsay Graham's criticisms of her for them, and the question as to whether Rice would be able to be confirmed by the Senate as Secretary of State if Obama were to nominate her, and everything else in the interview, elsewhere than Fox.

Except for the number of contractors who were killed in Iraq that Ricks brought up; I haven't been hearing about that much anywhere lately.

Except I guess I have to say now that I heard someone bring that up on a clip I saw from Fox News (fucking Bush hating lefty operation).

the real facts here:

despite being blasted as "biased" for claiming the GOP has an agenda in pushing this Susan Rice "controversy," there appears to be a very real factual basis for it, as even confirmed by a GOP senator.

and I agree with the part about the GOP picking and choosing when to be outraged about american deaths. despite all the sound and fury from Fox trying to connect this to the WhiteHouse, it appears to be not much more than some factotum at the State Dept screwing up and not listening to the ambassador's calls for more security. tragic, I know, but this pales in comparison to the tragedy of whoever didn't round up 19 al qaeda operatives on September 11th, 2001, despite months of warnings that an attack was imminent from the CIA to the WhiteHouse, or the invasion of Iraq...

so, maybe you could forgive every non-Fox News watching person for failing to be as outraged over this as O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, and John McCain think they need to be.

Well in my opinion, no deaths pale in comparison to each other. They are all equally tragic, and mostly unecessary.

so, maybe you could forgive every non-Fox News watching person for failing to be as outraged over this as O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, and John McCain think they need to be.

No forgiveness needed - I do think that a dead ambassador does warrant some investigative energy, but the fault is probably not with who is getting blamed.

Reasonable statement of facts, except for the "round up of 19 Al Qaeda operatives" comment, which tacitly ignores other previous presidents who also failed to act. So you can continue to blame whoever you like, there is plenty of blame on both sides of the aisle to go around for the deaths. When stated with so much biased drivel, it loses something in the translation.

Riiiight, all the stuff you are now spewing supports your previous crap. Get over yourself - my criticisim of your post has absolutely nothing to do with who won or lost the election. If you think so it just furthers my opinion of your complete bias.

Actually not so much lies, more a slanting of the few facts you presented.

Obama has all the cards I hope he calls The Tan mans bluff... it will mean the Republicans will get blasted in the midterm elections if the do not compromise ..
Let the Bush tax cuts expire and after the new year put forth a tax cut for the middle class and we will see the two faces Republicans who want to get re-elected run to support it..

I did not slant anything at all.. I mean i know what i heard from the republican senator today. I know what i watched last night on tv.. Today just confirmed what i saw last night...weird...
They all want Kerry nominated.. This is just a ploy by the Republicans to try and box Obama into who they want to nominate.. Nothing i said was wrong...
