We need to start keeping threads on point, on topic. Many play a role in this including myself. Several posters mention this and some good posters don't post as often. So from now on if someone brings up something that doesn't belong either ignore it or go elsewhere.

We'll probably need a Stafford thread..

Just try because it's beyond ridiculous.

Everything is related to everything in football. If it's Detroit Lions related, it's not off topic.

For instance say we are talking defense. Maybe the defensive sturggles are because the Lions offense turned it over 20 times in 8 games (which matched the turnovers in 16 games last year exactly)

You know some idiot is going to blindly blame Stafford.

And you know I will correct them and say only 6 of 20 turnovers are Stafford's fault.

Mitch, you know there's a simple solution to all of this. I'm not saying you should do it, but the option is there.

Why make Mitch do it? I blocked him about a month ago. Why doesn't everybody just block him, nobody will respond to him or see his posts, and eventually he will go away.

Trust me when I tell you it makes this board a lot better.

LKP at least attempts to bring another perspective, and while it is often an annoying perspective, it is always good to see the other side of the coin even if that side is forged with tinfoil. gotta have a bit of optimism around this organization from some place, and obviously that source is not coming from the organization itself, especially on the field.

No he doesn't. There's no perspective. He's just doing it to counter the realistic fans.

He regurgitates the same crap over and over again.

There is evidence and reasoning supporting everything I say. I note the good and the bad. I note who is at fault based on the game tape. You guys like to blindly blame the coach and QB and GM. Stop doing that and I won't have to correct you.

Are you a advanced player or coach that you have to correct everyone here who has their own thoughts on the Lions that you don't agree with?

Trying to get a grasp as to why you think your opinions on the Lions are better than others.

Answer the questions.

They have misinformed opinions. It's pretty obvious.
My opinions are informed. Their opinions are misinformed.

Informed opinions>misinformed opinions.

Says who.....you??

Again what makes your opinions informed and the other posters not??

What is YOUR football background that makes your info that of a football guru in your mind??

Oh yeah, Kaline. Save this board. It's nice to see a veteran member step in.

I know more than most. I watch the game tape often with a keen football mind. I look at all the stats. I know how football works and don't just blindly blame the QB. Everything is related in football. If Stafford has bad stats, it may not be his fault. And they hate when I point that truth out to them.

Being optimistic about this team was justified and logical with the talent they have. Players surprisingly regressed and we have injuries. I know who to blame (it's not Stafford).

They didn't meet their potential this year. They'll make some changes now

That's your opinion from your mind. Everyone else watches the games and game tape with their 'keen' football minds. They look at stats too. They know how football works, your opinion they blindly follow the QB, Your opinion of the truth.

You have answered my previous question by not answering it, which tells me you are not an advance player or coach at any level........my opinion.

Your opinions are not any better or worse than anyone elses. Ignoring their comments and just repeating yours in answer comes off as trolling and ignoring theirs. You did it to me by going in circles on my questions to you.

I don't think you will stop, it is too much a part of your m.o. here.
There is a way for it to stop for the other posters though, not the block.

Which is too bad, because I think he could actually talk football rationally. But his m.o. as you call it is too far along and he really can't turn around now.

You need to have better opinions. I can't turn it around if you guys are spewing stupidity at me all day every day.

I look at more stats. I look at more game tape. And I have a better football mind that doesn't blindly blame the coach and QB.
