Derek Hill bunt grounds out to the pitcher, and Barnhart doesn't even advance to second?

If this team finishes under .500 Al Avila should be fired. I know it?s early and I Remember the year Houston started 15-30 and made the World Series but they had at least 2 future hall of famers. Al where are the great position players ? Hard to fathom losing Riley would set this team back so much but the Tigers are just toothless at the plate right now.

My god down 4-1
Tiger muff yet another ball in the infield. JC try?s for the ball and messes up Baez timing.

We are so fucking bad in the field.

Two outs
Now 5-1 because we can?t field .

Digging a hole in April just like last year. Team's not good enough to climb of it if it continues into May.

Tigers look to turn the page on difficult stretch.
Hinch emphasizes taking one game at a time, looking forward.

Dodgers 5 - Tigers 1: Tyler Alexander?s short night leads to sixth-straight loss.
The Tigers had the worse Tyler on the mound Friday night against L.A.

Tigers' skid hits 6 as bats still slump and Tyler Alexander takes lumps vs. Dodgers.

In the game he had hit a home run, and this was the second time in the game he was hit by a pitch.

Schoop, Baddoo, and Candelario have all been terrible. Did you want all three of them replaced prior to the season?

The Tigers fall to 6-13, and they go another game without a home run.
This is just the 3rd time since 1947 that they?ve hit 8 HR or fewer through their first 19 games, joining 1983 and 2003.
By contrast, in 2006 they had 31 HR through 19 games.

How does everyone nose dive all at once. Only the freaking Tigers.

Too many bad hitters, badaboo flash in the pan. Candy had potential but I?d say he?s a bust

I do believe walks are a good thing. The only problem with this team is they need 4 in a row to score a run.

Which was always my point with rebbiv on the issue.

What good is an offense that has a good walk rate if they can't hit the ball. Just makes for more stranded runners. Unless we add 100 points to the the slugging percentage we won't be a consistent offense.

It depends on the walk rate.

If the percentage is .950 -or even .925 - that team is going to score a lot of runs off walks.
