2nd pitch. Tigers losing 1-0.

Home and watching.

I guess former lions quarterback Matt Stafford?s childhood buddy, pitching for the Dodgers tonight, is on the brink of setting the all-time Los Angeles Dodgers strikeout record, anticipated to happen tonight against the Tigers.

That?s a pretty big deal.

I?m pretty sure Clayton Kershaw never abandoned the city of Detroit to come to Los Angeles to win a championship.

I sure as shit hope no Los Angeles hater or Stafford hater makes any kind of curse against me or my family hoping that we all die for pointing this out.

I ain?t into no bad juju.

I don?t see my friend who posted a link about being banned for a month for bitching at Lions fans who wanted to see Stafford win a championship. I really didn?t give a shit. I was rooting against Stafford when he played Michigan hero Tom Brady in the playoffs.

Once it was only San Francisco and Cleveland in front of the Rams, I was rooting for the Rams; I wasn?t rooting for Stafford at all. I would?ve rooted for the Rams in that situation every time no matter who was the quarterback.

I guess I could?ve and should?ve posted a private message to my friend when he was doing that rant on that dumb ass thread ?I think it?s time for you to shut the fuck up.?

And that K right there ties done Sutton. And thankfully Hill, I guess double immediately afterward.

By sure hope nobody lays a curse on me for pointing out that Kershaw just tied Don Sutton.

And here is Miggie. Wow dodger announcer said ?and this is Hollywood.? That ain?t no shit.

And the only member of the 3000 hit, 500 home run club who has ever won the Triple Crown grounds weakly back to Kershaw, no milestone for Kershaw; no heroics for Miggy.

A tad anticlimactic any way you look at it.

Dodger announcer - what?s his name, the pitcher I think they used to call the bulldog back in the year when Gibson went to the Dodgers and they won the World Series ? said ?Miguel, you were supposed to strike out.?

I kind of think Miguel was supposed to home run.

Kershaw sets the Dodgers strikeout record. Still a runner on first for the Tigers with only one out.

Sorry about that. We don?t get a lot that here.

But you know that, you used to live out this way.

4th inning ends tied at 1.

Young Brieske pretty much matching up to the Dodger pitcher what?s his name to this point.

So Kershaw is no longer the pitcher of record on his record breaking night, and cannot be the losing pitcher to the Tigers. Good.

It is way too early to panic on the Tigers, even if only for the reason that the division they lay in so far kind of blows.

The division leading twins are about 100 points worse than every other division leader.

Every other team is under 500 and hasn?t been doing that much better than the last place Tigers.

If anybody cares, which probably nobody does, tonight is Kirk Gibson bobble head night at dodger Stadium.

His former 1988 WS winning teammate Orel Hershiser just spoke fondly of his memories of when 1984 World Series champion teammate of the Tigers joined the Dodgers that year.

And all that having been said, the Tigers just take the lead.
