I know the guys been moved a lot in recent times so it could suggest that he's certainly not available. It also should known that this is coming from Jim Bowden, anything he says should not only be taken with a grain of salt, but also if you could chuck the bottle over your right shoulder (try to avoid seabass).

Now all this aside, Jed Lowrie would be a huge addition for us up the middle. He's not Roberto Alomar with the leather but surely he would be a huge spark of offensive atop this ever bleeding walk starved lineup.
Players to market:
Jed Lowrie, SS/2B: I doubt he gets traded, but the Astros have to listen. The Tigers could offer Houston a decent prospect package.
