Tigers @ Red Sox Game Thread, May 18th

If that fucker wasn't a midget it wouldn't hit his bat twice.

Every player should try that. Try to double hit it on a weak chopper.

What's beautiful is that Ausmus manages every game to win. This game is just as big of a game as one in September. You play to win and you get greedy when you're a hot team.

I know this doesn't in any way compensate for getting beat by them in the playoffs last year but man would a sweep at their house feel good.

What the hell is that thing Hunter uses to get loose?

As a team, the Tigers are hitting an AL leading .293 (98x334) with runners in scoring position.

Including tonight's game, Tigers starting pitchers have allowed 3 runs or less in 18 of their last 19 games.

Over his last 7 outings, Al Alburquerque has a 1.42 ERA (6.1IP/1ER) and has allowed 3 hits, walked one and struck out 10.

With 3 hits tonight, Miguel Cabrera now has 96 3-hit games in his Tigers career, tied with Willie Horton for the 13th most in club history.

Can't go down looking when you have bases juiced in the 9th with a 4 run lead. Go down swinging.
