Balester, 25, has posted a 9.8 K/9 rate over the last two seasons but also has given up a lot of hits (8.4 H/9) and walks (4.0 BB).

Considering that Ryan claims that his eyesight is failing him, and allegedly the prognosis is not good nor is there an effective cure or something that can slow the increasing degradation down, exactly how is Perry going to pass or has passed his physical?

Good question Doug, you remember that eye problem and the prognosis.
That should be answered soon enough.

So long Ryan and good luck with the Nats, "Eye" feel for ya, since "Eye" also have had, and will continue to have trouble with my eyesight, having astigmatism and now developing a cataract in my increasingly blurry right eye, Eye also know how stressful it must be to have a condition that already is affecting or will sooner or later affect his ability to pitch effectively, and could very well drastically shorten his pitching career in MLB.
