Remember when the Tigers swept the Twins in the 1st 3 games of the season and outscored them 22-1? Yeah, me either.

Tigers are trying to win back-to-back road games for only the third time since July 9.

The Twins are going after their fifth straight home series win and seventh victory in nine games at Target Field. They are 42-26 at home. They've dropped eight of 13 in the season series with Detroit, but totaled 24 runs and 35 hits in winning the last three of a four-game home set in July.

Miggy is hitting .129 with one extra-base hit over his last 8 games.

Well the good new there are only 19 more shit shows left before this is finally over for the year..maybe only 18 they may not make up the Cleveland rainout if doesn't end up being needed to determine anything for the playoff positions

As Duffey k's the side in the second as the Tigers now go into shutdown mode already
