Epic moment in Tigers' - A's rivalry that set off some fireworks.

I have hated the f'n oakland a's with a passion ever since that incident.
Campaneris was a huge shithead and I wish Billy Martin had gotten a piece of him, Billy would have made scrambled eggs of his face.

Those a's teams from before that were always throwing at Tigers, from the late 60's on. Huge shithead lew krause broke Kaline's arm in 1968 and during that year and before jack akers and others were head hunting Northrup and Freehan.

That took some brass balls on oakland's part because the Tigers had Willie, and Gates, Northrup could handle himself, Freehan had a football mentality along with being a great catcher. In '72 they had Frank Howard even though he was a gentle giant he was a big man.

Yeah my blood boils to this day when I am reminded of that.

For those of you eager for the trade deadline here is the list of Tigers who Harris will try and move and their trade value ranking..as in what they will bring back..

2. Cisnero
3. Loenzen
thats it people..its thin..and 2 and 3..aren't bringing back much..
for those of you who want to trade EROD..a few questions.
1. what if the offers aren't good (injury risk).
2. are we sure Harris knows how to make shrewd trades.
3. cost benefit analysis of reworking his contract.

I?m afraid Malloy is a lot closer to Maton than Tigers fans would like. He?s got a good eye, plus raw power, and he doesn?t chase much.
But you can?t play him at 3rd and he *really* struggles against any kind of breaking ball in the zone.
