Not offering excuses but the Oakland A's had a lot of help in their win last night against the Detroit Tigers. Angel Hernandez was behind the plate and video showed him calling strikes with pitches well outside of the plate then entire night.
Analysts estimated that over 20 calls were highly questionable or clearly wrong. Stats show him correct 86% of the time, 8% below league average.

You don't want bad to good to bad again to good again.. You want bad to good to stay good to great.

Two things we should have known the BP would stink, it always does. And we basically have an offense that's worth less than 20m. On paper it's not good. 2021 is basically to watch Mize and whoever else wants to show up.
