Maybe Smokes thinks that Hunter's .241 .302 .448 .750 life-stats against Colon are suspect. It's not as if this is an important game or anything.

I'm not happy about it, but it makes sense. He's always been careful about resting his veterans on day-night turn around when we have no offday for a bit and have to play division rival series starting tomorrow.
