Getting squeezed in the first and second innings, Fister gets to 94 pitches through 5.
Still just 1 run 5 hits 2 walks and 7 strikeouts.

mccarthy is a pretty good pitcher, but Tigers just haven't got any offensive consistency.

There is no excuse for this, McCarthy 1 off his career high for K's all three hitters in that inning displayed a complete lack of plate discipline. I don't see this occurring this often with anyone but the Tigers
