The Detroit Tigers have only had 1 losing month this year - April. Since then, they have incrementally improved every month. This is the first time the Tigers have gotten better with each month in at least 3+ years.

They have gone from 11 games under .500 to now 6 games. They even flirted with 2nd place for the first time in 5 years.

Since May 8th, their record is 51-42. Since the All-Star break, they are 20-15. And they did this with a decimated roster - losing most of their starting rotation, 3 of 4 catchers, 3 outfielders and 2 infielders to the IL.

Totally Tigers

This team has been so resilient. Every time they have a mini set back they come back. All year. It's so great.
