Tigers are bringing out the Top Gun for tonights Game 3 at Comerica......
Ceremonial first pitch for tonight's Game 3 of the World Series: Tigers Hall of Famer Al Kaline.
Win tonight and play another meaningful game on Sunday.
Magglio in Tigers’ clubhouse, holding court.
National anthem: Zooey Deschanel a doucebag giants fan. fuckfacefoxsports brings her in.
God Bless America: Staff Sgt. Amy Gould of the 126 Army Band, U.S. Army.

As expected, Delmon Young shifts back to DH; Quintin Berry, Andy Dirks occupy outfield corners in Game 3 of the World Series.
With the series shifting back to Detroit, manager Jim Leyland has moved Delmon Young back to the designated-hitting spot, allowing Berry and Dirks to start in left and right field, respectively.
It's the first start for both Berry and Dirks, who have sat on the bench the past two games, each making pinch-hit appearances in Games 1 and 2.
First pitch is set for 8:07 p.m.
Leyland has stacked his lineup heavy with left-handed hitters to combat right-hander Ryan Vogelsong, San Francisco's Game 3 starter. The 35-year-old All-Star has been lights out this postseason, going 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA in three starts.
But will his success carry over into Detroit with temperatures expected to drop below 40 degrees tonight?
The Tigers will counter with Anibal Sanchez, who has found plenty of success against San Francisco, going 3-1 with a 1.98 ERA and two shutouts in five career starts. That's probably a large reason as to why he was named Game 3 starter over Max Scherzer. Sanchez is also in line to start Game 7, if necessary.
The Giants have yet to announce their lineup, but manager Bruce Bochy said Friday he was leaning toward using Hector Sanchez, a .280 hitter, as the team's designated hitter.
Aubrey Huff and Joaquin Arias could also be considered, or Bochy could make a more drastic move and pencil Pablo Sandoval at DH and move Arias to Joaquin to third base.

Not that it really has any impact on the game itself, but really Fox? Bringing a SF fan into Detroit to sing the NA isn't gonna sway many people away from thinking you're pulling for the Giants.

Also, nice to see a guy that's 7 for 11 against Vogelsong batting 9th. Usually I'm not really into small sample sizes, but Infante is the only Tiger that's seen Vogelsong a decent amount and has had good success. Wouldn't have minded seeing him 2nd tonight.

I made my rants on twitter to foxsports and zooey d-bag.

I was thinking the same about Omar batting 2nd, but it looks like Leyland wants righty/lefty down the lineup.

Got I hate her and her stupid iPhone commercial, and her tv show commercials.

We should have had Jos? Feliciano do it again.

Well that chick's show is on Fox so I'm sure that's all they care about. I watched the first episode of that show and it was awful. I don't get what people like about her. She basically plays an unfunny, quirky retard.

It's going to be a fairly cold night for baseball.

That righty/lefty crap is what drives me nuts most about Leyland(aside from him giving his BFF a lifetime job as 3B coach). Sometimes it's the right move, but not EVERYTIME!

Awesome interview with Willie. He is very confident we will win this series. That's enough for me. Let's win this series in 6. Can't wait!!!!

Willie used to be a paper boy around Comerica Park, wow.
He looks good 70 years young.

It's a tough call, but I guess I'll have the Michigan game on the main screen with the audio, and watch the Tigers on one of the side screens.

Of course, that could change depending on what is happening.

And of course I'll flip when the Michigan game goes to station break.
