DET offense against teams under .500 = 5.3 runs per game
DET offense against team over .500 = 4.4 runs per game
5.9 runs per game VS NL teams
4.7 runs per game vs AL teams
5.2 runs per game at home
4.6 runs per game away

Det offense vs teams other than the Indians = 6.0 runs per game
Det offense vs the Indians 2.2 runs per game
The Indians pitching staff has the best BAA, the best ERA, lowest OPS, lowest WHIP, the most CG, most shutouts
Pitching is the reason the Tigers are 0-11 vs the Indians. The Indians good pitching and the Tigers bad pitching.
I agree that DET cannot hit against CLE and CLE, whose offense is lame, can hit against DET pitching.
Common Opponent
DET 29-20 269 (5.5 runs) vs 242 (4.9 runs)
CLE 30-27 243 (4.3 runs) vs 268 (4.7 runs)
So that good pitching CLE doesn't effect common opponents like it does DET. And the better offense has the better record, not the better pitching.
Offense vs each other:
DET = 15.2 PA/G
CLE = 11.6 PA/G
AL AVG = 12.5 PA/G
CLE pitching = 12.9 PA/G
You take DET offense away from CLE pitching and they aren't that dominate. Our weak, inconsistent offense makes it that way.
