Tigers vs. indians Game Thread July 26

I get that it's what allows him to dial it up to 98 later in the 8th but damn, gonna have to mix it up if they're sitting on it.

yes, curves, changeups, maybe a slider or two early might have got them off sitting on the FB.

What does it say about our #5 spot in the order when this many people are surprised/pleased that Delmon took a walk in back to back games.

Berry looks over matched on this guys FB.

45 pitches for indians pitcher.

Man I really hope someone runs into one soon. This stranding 2 runners every inning is gonna be the death of me.

He is what he is. I don't get why everyone bitches about his lack of walks. Not like it's something that just started happening this year.

Verlander 2nd inning,

get in the batters box you f'n hotdog, changeup grounder to Prince flips to JV covering,

roidshafner fly to Jackson,

so far every pitch is a changeup first two batters,

lopez lined to Cabrera who dives horzontally to his left nice play,

Verlander with just 13 pitches,

tie game.

Look at the puddles one the warning track. Dry that crap up, grounds crew. Yeesh.

It's an indication that pitchers go after him because he can't hit, rather than try to be careful and hit the corners/throw balls.

If he was 7th or 8th I would not care, but 5th is usually a protection spot, but opposing pitchers can't wait to face him.

Miggy with a nice play on D, JV only 13 pitches after 2 but they are hitting some ropes he better start changing it up

Delmon doesn't fill out the lineup card
