Daniel Norris..noted velocity whore..was 94-96.5 that inning..struggled to get outs..whats that tell you...the same thing the last 4 years have told you..he has AAA command..and subpar makeup..
AJ Hinch..has been bad before..he got fired in AZ for being bad..what he does know..is that the Willi Castro Harold Castro Buck Farmer JaCoby Jones and the parade of not major league caliber players..with nobody to replace them..its screams incompetence its screams lack of process.
Imagine you drafted so poorly..you have no arms..to replace Buck Farmer..look at CLE..how many of these random guys has anyone heard of..yet..they execute and get outs.

This may make Nomar Mazara and harold Castro very nervous.

over lunch..this was discussed..if you were in year 3 of whatever Illitch/Avila think they are doing...considering Jobe would be fine..its year 6...its not an option..at least an option for a shrewdly run team..Rick Porcello career high in DET 3 WAR..

Daniel Norris has thrown very poorly in 2021 he is a FA after the season, with the innings restrictions Mize and Skubal will run up against shortly, it may make some sense to stretch him out to start, nothing to lose and the work may improve his command.
