Get StartedThat as close. Just recognize the pitch.
Yeah I know but this weekend it's been all us.. Yay
12-3 wasn't on the weekend. Understand.12-3 and this awful 4-3 loss says something else.
Lange has allowed 14 ER in his last 13.1 IP. you got to think Hinch must be considering swapping him and Foley post ASB.
Since the start of July and through his second PA today, Tork has a .267 BA. 5 of his 8 hits are XBH.
14 of his 20 BIP have a launch angle higher than 10. 8 of his 20 BIP were to the pull side. Of his 8 hits, 4 have been to straightaway and 4 to the pull.
Pull and launch.
Last year Spencer Torkelson was demoted to Triple-A as the Tigers went into the All-Star break.
His numbers at that time:
298 PA, 5 HR, 9.7% BB, 25.5% K
.197/.282/.296
His numbers now:
371 PA, 12 HR, 10% BB, 24.2% K
.226/.307/.399
The polish that Fetter Lund and Nieves added to Skubal during this rehab..is frankly astounding.
Going inside the Tigers' decision to DFA popular veteran Jonathan Schoop: "You never love having that conversation. But we made the decision to move on from him and give opportunity to other people."
Det news
I love how the team postures like this was difficult..he was ranked 175 out of 175 hitters the past 2 seasons..you needed 650 AB to qualify..explain again the angst ..Schoop was bad..didn't play 2B anymore and almost any other team in baseball would have DFA him months ago.
MGorosh
It would appear that Detroit Tiger pitchers are going to be very popular with other teams come the trade deadline set for August 1st. Several days ago, we reported that the top 2 pitchers expected to be traded are both Tigers - Eduardo Rodriguez and Michael Lorenzen.
Now it's being reported that interest is being shown by multiple teams over Jose Cisnero, Jason Foley and Will Vest. Weirdly, Alex Lange is not being mentioned.
Totally Tigers
