If more than 1 of reyes or the Castros are again on this team next year I'm done believing that they're even trying to field an mlb team. 4 years now that trio has been hanging on to spots because we don't have actually mlb talent to take their spot.

Spencer Torkelson had gone 129 plate appearances since his last HR on May 18 in St. Petersburg.
His 2-run homer off Brady Singer got the Tigers on the board in the 5th.
Tracy Smith, who coached Spencer Torkelson at Arizona State, is officially the new head baseball coach at Michigan.
Not sure Riley Greene can keep this up but hell of a start

*Placed RHP Rony Garc?a on the 15-day IL, backdated to 6/30, with right shoulder soreness
*Selected RHP Garrett Hill from Triple A Toledo
*To make room for Hill on the 40-man roster, transferred RHP Matt Manning to the 60-day IL

That non-tender to Jeimer Candelario, which looks like it?s taking shape, is going to be some tumble ? for him and for the Tigers.
How out of touch do you have to be to declare the rebuild is 100% over and then look at the team, 17 games below .500 with the worst offense in the 120+ year history of the Detroit Tigers and say "I'm very pleased".
Can you say this team we root for is Fucked with Chris Ilitch owning the team and stumble fuck Al Avila the GM.
Do you know how important it is to grind out at bats and walk which is as good as a hit and increase the pitch count of opposing pitcher?
Rickey Henderson walked 796 times in his career *leading off the inning*. He walked more times just leading off an inning than Lou Brock, Luis Aparicio, Ernie Banks, Roberto Clemente, Kirby Puckett, Ryne Sandberg and 50 other Hall of Famers did in their entire careers! We need more players that can work a count and walk instead of swinging at a pitch 5 feet off the outside corner.
