As perfect as the Big Potato was last season in save situations, he wasn't in games that were not true save opportunities or was on the mound for more than just the 9th inning.

5-3 now, Nats chipping away at the Tigers slimmer lead again after 7 full. Dotel had a little bit of trouble too, apparently. Edit...Tigers scored to make it 6-3.

The much hyped Yu Darvish had a rocky second ST appearance for the Rangers this afternoon, giving up 4 BBs and 2 runs on 3 hits...dunno how many innings he pitched, can't see the game boxscore on ESPN yet...just appeared, was in 3 IP.

Kind of what I am trying to chalk up Valverde's past to relief appearances to.

The Gameday has scores at the top of the page, click the game and the boxscore is there...darvish went 3 innings 2 runs 3 hits 4 walks 3 k's.

The image that MLB.com had up of Argenis Diaz, Tigers SS (oops now hes playing 2B) who had walked, looked quite similar to that of ex-Tiger SP Edwin Jackson..kinda eerily similar or maybe it was just the lack of a grin or smile on his pic...lol.

Tigers win 6-3 over the Nationals.
Mets visit Joker Marchant Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
Game televised on ESPN.

Chad Tracy for the Nats has quite the youkillis-like goatee in his MLB pic, but looks a bit strange on such a baby-face..heh!!

Tigers win 6-3 and improve to 7-1-3 in ST.

Eagerly looking forward to tomorrow afternoon's ESPN TV broadcast game vs the NY Mets, and being able to likely get to see Prince Fielder play in some of the game for the first time in a Tigers uni.
