will edit has been killing the ball >:D

That's good for will's chances to make the roster...lol

Putting the shoe on the other foot, our Tigers Andy Dirks has been killing the ball too!
Must be why Jim is playing Thomas instead....lol

Jackson singles,

Boesch singles,

Cabrera two-run double in first at-bat upon returning to the lineup,
No signs of rust from Miguel Cabrera, who doubles into RF corner on 1st AB back to plate two. Still no out

Tigers lead 2 - 0,

Kelly singles, first and third,

Young grounds into a 6/4/3 dp, Cabrera scores,

Tigers lead 3 - 0,

Raburn reaches on throwing error E5,

Clete strikes out swinging.....

3 up, 3 down for Below in 1st, helped in part by Austin Jackson's catch running into LCF fence to rob J.J. Hardy.

orioles third base with reynolds and betemit will be far far worse defensively than anything bad Cabrera will do at the position.

Good news: Below hitting 91 on radar gun in 2nd inning here in Sarasota,
Bad news: He just walked the bases loaded,

Below now struggling to throw strikes, the pressure is getting to all of them,

Below gets Jai Miller to pop up behind plate, but Don Kelly just ran into Laird's knee trying to run it down. Laird is down and hurting,

Kevin Rand and Brandon Douglas have to help Laird off the field. No weight on left knee. Not looking good...

Not quite the same as when VMart twisted his knee vs royals ... but the effect is the same if Laird is hurt seriously after that collision with Kelly,

Santos was just sent to minor league camp 5 hours ago...

Minor leaguer James McCann is now catching,

and Below with another walk, run scores,

Tigers lead 3 - 1.

Inge was sticking pins in a Laird doll, he figures the Tigers will now keep him as backup catcher.

4 walks. the more the week goes on, the more i think we open the season with either smyly or noone as our 5th starter.

Leyland said before game that nagging injuries were a concern - Laird's might be more than nagging...
