Tuesday?s scheduled game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Comerica Park has been postponed due to inclement weather conditions. The game has been rescheduled as part of a split, seven-inning doubleheader on Wednesday, April 21, with the April 20 makeup beginning at 2:10 p.m. and the originally scheduled game starting at 6:40 p.m. Both games of the doubleheader will be televised on Bally Sports Detroit.
All paid tickets from today?s game are valid for entry for the first game of the split doubleheader on April 21. No ticket exchange is necessary. Please visit tigers.com for more information.

The Detroit Tigers will play three games in two days against the Pittsburgh Pirates after snow postponed Tuesday night's game at Comerica Park. The teams are slated to play a pair of seven-inning games at 2:10 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. Wednesday.

The series finale between the Tigers and Pirates is remains scheduled for 1:10 p.m. Thursday. The Tigers (6-10) aim get back on track after losing seven games during a 10-game road trip that took them to Cleveland, Houston and Oakland.

Snowfall entered Detroit in the early afternoon Tuesday ? at this point, the team felt there was a 50-50 chance of playing. The snow is expected to continue throughout the night and into the early hours of Wednesday. Because the inclement weather didn't let up ahead of the scheduled 6:40 p.m. first pitch, the game got postponed.

this lineup looks similar to those of the past 2 seasons. Most batters hitting around .200
 
Fulmer w/a 1 run lead, scuffled through the top 4th , gives up 3 runs all on singles.

Tigers anemic offense unlikely to stage a quick comeback.

Willie C Ks swinging after a Ramos double.

Schoop finally gets a hard hit rbi single but is still xbh-less...3-2.

Most looking lethargic @ the dish.
 
Grossman bobbles a bloop single to left...runners @ 1st and 3rd w/2 out top 7th.

Avoid giving up another run w/an acrobatic catch by Willi C @ short, and Schoop digging the throw to first out of the dirt.
