This extra innings rule needs to stay. I?m pretty old school for a younger fan but nobody wants a 16 inning game on a Friday night in August during normal times. It?s not even baseball when you waste a starter, burn your pen or use position players.

I like them for the regular season. I agree. Puts pressure on the RP. Especially now days when bullpens have flame throwers. It creates excitement.

Yes, I should have specified regular season games only. You don?t see NHL doing continuous OT in regular season games. Basketballs is generally not an issue and rarely goes past 1 OT. I hate the NFL tie rule and wish OT was longer than 10 minutes for regular season games but oh well.
