Tigers vs. rangers Game Thread April 22

Whatever. Squeeze play or no squeeze play this offense needs to wake the fuck up. Pure and simple.

It was Texas. They're not just offense.

But it's more than that. The Tigers have too many holes on offense. First, they have a trio of 2B that stink. Going by order, they have a CF who by and large has improved but is still inconsistent. A RF, who has little experience and also inconsistent. A LF, who doesn't take walks and a SS and C who might of just had career years in 2011. It all comes down to the fact, if the two big boys in the middle don't come through, there are too many rally "enders" on this team.

And we have no bench/depth. We needed a 2B and OF in free agency..

That entire umpiring crew should forfeit their day's wage for missing the CAROM off Gonzalez's knee. Unacceptable and inexcusable.

We didn't lose that game on offense.

We lost because of a bad throw back to the pitcher, and because a suicide squeeze foul bunt that the umpires blew.

Sure, we had two chances to get a walk off win, but let's not forget we didn't face any slouches as far as pitching either, that staff and BP for Texas are freaks.
