Tigers vs. rays Game Thread June 28

Come on MI... Since June 14th when he came back he is 8 for 25 with 4 doubles and 4 singles and 1 rbi and 3 runs...1 BB and 8 k's... Some .320's are better the others.. RR,BB, and DY can all take a hike but you don't start RR verses Shields...He is 1 for 5 with 4 k's verses him... Maybe Shields screws up and BB closes his eyes and swings..

Come on what? The numbers I posted are facts Bob, hate Raburn if you like, but he's a better option right now than Young or Boesch.

The Rays announcer just said the shift should be banned because Pena just got robbed of a base hit. The other announcer is speechless right now.

Announcer #2 should kick Felix Unger out of the booth permanently. That should be a fireable offense. Should the fielders then be positioned like garden statues and not be allowed to move at all?

It was easily one of the top 5 dumbest things I've heard in a television broadcast.

Joe Buck once said: ?You have to do well on third downs.? Well, yes, you do, because you?ve only got three downs in which to do something before you either punt or try to kick a field goal.

Damn Shields is wild all over the place and Jim has BB swing.... He is the dumbest manager sometimes..

Reminds of the announcer "Pepper" from the movie Dodgeball. ESPN 8 "The Ocho!"

George Foreman was the analyst for Olympic boxing in 1976 and he actually said of a punch:

"That was a clean body shot to the head."

Cotton: In 23 years of broadcasting I thought I'd seen it all, folks. But it looks like Peter La Fleur has actually blindfolded himself.

Pepper Brooks: He will not be able to see very well, Cotton.

Cotton: I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players and will be forfeiting the championship match.

Pepper Brooks: It's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.

Young has 5 RBI"s since June 14th.. Raburn has 1, and Boesch has 1 I think.. I think you are over valuing his 8 for 25 strech... So they all suck..
