Tigers vs. reds Game Thread June 8

I hate how Rod and Mario are acting like all of our problems are injury related. We were awful with our full lineup this year.

Agree it's being over used as an excuse it's not like they were scoring many runs before all the injuries either or something.

8 man and only two runs... Only the Tigers...Now we have to do it verses the Reds Bullpen..

Really?!?!?! First pitch swinging again?!?! What the hell Laird, DY get into your ear before that at bat?

Both Young and Larid swing at the first pitch is just bad baseball.. You don't even give yourself a chance for a wild pitch or anything...

But it wasn't a close play IMO, the guy scores 19 out of 20 times there.
Bruce was only 40ft behind SS when he picked that ball up. He's got enough arm to make that play close. No point risking it with Cabrera and Prince up next.

Ramon moved to SS, Matt Young playing 2nd? and JP rewarded for his good AB by being taken out of the game WTF!? Smokes overly worried about depth for the NL game out managing himself yet again. Why not put in Left and take Delmons ass out

Thankfully you're not the 3rd base coach. As much as I think Lamont is clueless. No sense running into the first out with your big boys coming up. Not sure if you've noticed, but this team hits into DP's quite often.

Yet the radio guys insisted he could have scored easily, and incase YOU haven't noticed Cabrera could have popped up/K'd and Fielder GIDP then we get 0 runs.

Gotta take em when you can get them, if it was iffy I'd be okay with it, but Dickerson, whom I consider to be far more knowledgeable than you or I, said Young could have scored standing up.

I mean, we're a team that has trouble scoring runs, even with the big guys up, no point on passing at a scoring chance and hoping it pays off, that time it did, but it could have been different.

God I hate the NL. It's like stopping the game so a handicapped kid gets a turn at bat.

We can agree to disagree, I thought the runner was already rounding 3rd and could have been 3/4 to home plate before Bruce fielded the ball, I wasn't even sure he would have attempted the throw. I guess we saw it differently, it happens.

No complaints, it lead to n extra Cabrera RBI and that's all we have to really cheer for with this team, Cabrera MVP stats.
