This team is suddenly terrible again. Very frustrating.

I really hope we make a play for someone with some plate discipline and speed soon. I've seen enough of Boesch and Young to last me a lifetime.

It is mostly due to the "other" players playing up to or above their potential. When the Tigers went on that run guys like Boesch & Young. Three guys can't carry this offense.

The pitching was lights-out on that win streak also, since then only Fister has pitched without breaking down. Scherzer, Sanchez, Porcello, and even Verlander have all tanked at some point in the last 7 games.

At least they upgraded the 2B position...Omar is hitting a ROBUST .167

As sad as that sounds, that might actually still be a small upgrade. I'm sure Infante will pick it up as the season goes on. I've been pretty happy with his defense so far.

I'm sure it's an upgrade but talk about a slow start! So far his defense has not been an upgrade....he already has 2 errors in 24 total chances.

His defense has been worse then his hitting.
