Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread June 22

Watching mlb network highlights, IMO that Bautista in Toronto is ped up for sure, he shows aggressive tendencies on the field often

My friend went to the game tonight, insisted that the guy in the blue hat is a former Tiger but can't name who it is. Anyone recognize him from the side??

Would a former Tiger ever sit in seats that cheap? Doubtful; they would comp him something better.

Leylands fault

I sent you an inbox regarding this form of baiting/trolling in the game threads and the forum.
This isn't necessary and it has already created a problem with many here, and that in itself will cause you a problem if you can't stop and just get into the discussions instead of trying to hijack a thread and get under the skin of the good posters here. 2nd request and warning.

Got it.

So everyone can go off on Leyland and blame him for things he has NOTHING to do with (Tui's injury...Thumb) and you can all be comfortable in your ability to blame him for guys flat out underperforming (Prince the last 4 or 5 days has been TURRBLE).

My point in the Leylands fault posts is that blaming him for EVERY little mistake a player makes is beyone moronic. It shows true lack of baseball knowledge. Apparently, asking a major league baseball player to get down a bunt is a no no to you folks. Bringing in anyone from the pen not named Smyly or Benoit is stupid and playing a career AAA player and our current 4th or 5th OF is a stroke of genius he is somehow missing.

Foolish.

But you win. I'll quit the Leylands fault posts. Wouldn't want to cause any of you ladies any boo boos to your feelings.

If you weren't such a simple minded troll, you would realize there is probably nobody on this board who has stuck up for Leyland more than I have.

But yes, I believe the fact that Tui sits all the time and never gets into a good rhythm with the bat is a contributing factor in how he strained his rib cage. It's the same injury that managers worry about happening to pitchers, because they are not used to swinging the bat and are more likely to pull something.

But I, for one, found your little stunt amusing, I got a chuckle out of how something so simple minded seemed to amuse you so much, I bet you spend hours chasing a laser pointer all over the floor.

I would hope that is the last of all that.

We have a rather free rein here, compared to where we mostly all came from over at espn,
The swearing in game threads or about a player was something I asked for way back, and it has caused some disappointment from a few who voiced their feelings to me and/or left and come back infrequently. I don't think it would have been good policy to take away something you have had, so I try to tone mine down with shorter word f'n instead of the 4 letters. I mention this, because a few months ago blj and mh got into it heavy on the Lions board. Letting it play out, finally worked over there. I just don't want to see those fu attacks here as what could be a discussion turns into an angry worded argument.

In fact, not at motown sports, blessyouboys, or any other Detroit sports site blog, is there any profanity, or trolling of any kind allowed, or for very long. Those sites have a heavy Hammer.

I personally would rather just see things play out with the 2 or few people and let it end.
Only when it seems that something is bothering a large percentage of the group will I say something as I did last night.
and only 2 people in the past who didn't get it, were reprimanded by the Adminstrator.

I just want to say, you do a great job of babysitting KC! Even when you have to come down on me. lol

I never swore, so I'm not sure what you're F'N talking about.

GT, I felt bad about that last year, it's over and past.

BLJ, I know you didn't here, I was talking about on the lions board.

It's over with.

On a lighter note, the former Tiger in the picture was Pat Sherdian. I don't feel an ounce bad for not guessing it now. My guess was Mike Henneman for what it's worth :p
