Tigers vs. redsox Game Thread June 22

IMO all of those Baltimore players deserve the votes and positions on the leader board that they are at with the exception of hardy, I see peralta is in second now though and closing the gap..he was 3rd behind Elvis so that's good at least that he's up to 2nd now
I disagree. Davis and Jones no doubt, but Hardy over JP??? Markakis as of now a starting OF'er???? Hell, he's not even having as good a year as his teammate Nate McLouth. Weiters sitting 2nd batting .233???

I HATE how the voting is set up!! They start the voting way too early and allow fans to vote for guys like Jeter who hasn't even played a fucking game this year and is sitting in 5th with almost a million votes!!

I'm ok with involving the fans, but why not let the leading vote getters make the team and let the coaches and players pick the starters?

Agree on hardy, hence "with the exception of hardy" will conced weiters to, your're right .233 doesn't deserve 2nd in the vote...agree on the early start to voting also way to soon for mlb to open up the polls as early as they do

It's really nice to see 9 runs on a night where Miggy and Prince didn't need to do the heavy lifting (no pun intended)....so far.

Prince has been a dp machine.

Prince Miggy and VMart now have 11 each. Pujols leads the AL with 14, Ortiz has 13, H. Kendrick has 12.

Angels still have a sizeable team lead at hitting into DP's over us and Boston.

He looked like he was trying to be out on purpose.

carp had good number as they play him in platoons.
and the kid nava has played left and right for them, hasn't shown so far this series, but he has been a good player/hitter for them, hope he doesn't hit until next week.
