Tigers vs. rockies Game Thread June 15

Hudson may only have 12 or 13 hits for the Sox and 10 or 11 RbI's since joining them But i am pretty sure that is more then all of our second basemen.. Plus the Sox have a freaking stellar record since getting him. I still wish we would have gotten him and forced the sox to scrounge for players

Leyland 1618-1619 He mismanages bullpens. Players get the blame but Managers can put players and teams in a position to win... Did you see the tie numbers fool... Jim is just a average manager, managing a below average team right now... Jim and the team need to be better then this... Jim stays with players in the line-up to long that are not producing and has a terrible time with the bullpen some days...

It's pretty pathetic of a moderator to be name calling. I guess you think that because you're a mod, that makes you right.

Earlier, Kaline was encouraging the lurkers to sign up. After seeing this immature display from a mod, it's no wonder that more people don't.

Enjoy your power trip, I'm sure it will last.

Ok whatever you say... Did you see the numbers or are you one of those guys who has to be right all the time? Just asking?

alright now nothing positive will be occurring here for the rest of the night I can see. time to call it pointless, out!

I'd blame in this order, Valverde, Leyland, Crosby, Young.

Leyland would have been last, but he was double stupid, not pulling Crosby after the second and then letting Valverde carry the gas can to the mound.

Yeah pretty good list... Frustrating how many different ways we can lose games..

oh! i thought of something else from the 10th after reading walkoffwoodward's recap: if the infield had been playing at double play depth like they should have instead of having the infield in with 1 out, that chopper that is over peralta's head is instead a double play ball and we're out of the inning. peralta was still an idiot for breaking in on the ball, but it shouldnt have mattered. that was just stupid positioning.

if someone already mentioned it (i dont wanna read back), it still bears repeating.

I think they were in tight because they wanted to get the out at home no matter what.

Assuming they just went for a standard DP and the runner beat the throw to first, then the run still scores, but going home first kills the run.

Not trying to make excuses for poor play, but at the time I thought that defensive alignment/strategy was a good idea.

In that situation, you play the CIF in, and play the MIF at middle play depth.

On the bright side, we're still only 4 games out of first with plenty of season left. lol

earned run stats drive me crazy. JV has the error s
o he is only charged with 1 run vs 6. he deserved every one of those errors. I can't wait til next year when his fat ass is gone!
