Last regular season game of the year before the 2012 Playoffs. We have lived and died with this team through everything game after game; good, great, meh, or bad; lineups, bullpens, hitting w/risp+basesloaded, defense, you name it, and survived.
We also have seen first hand game after game, the greatest Tigers hitter since...well idk, Miguel Cabrera is just a better hitter than even Kaline with his power, I never saw Greenberg, and certainly not Cobb, Heilmann, etc. imo Miggy has the Power of Hank, and Cecil Fielder, and the high average of say a Magglio, Kaline, Cobb. Miggy is a once in a lifetime/generation hitter.
and we have arguably the greatest Tigers Pitcher in the making with Justin. Verlander is the best Tigers pitcher in the last 50/60 years, and that is with all due respect to Bunning, Lary, Lolich, Morris, or any other.
Two Hall of Fame bound players spending their careers with our Tigers, it doesn't get any better than that, unless they help bring another World Series Title to Detroit.
