Tigers vs. royals Game Thread Sept. 25

Standing O for Sanchez

Bag of dung for the offense. Apparently the Tigers are tied for 1st again, somehow..

Great game - pitching wise.

Offense was still flat, and it's bugging me.

Tigers win 2 - 0,
Tigers in First Place,
Anibal Sanchez with the CG Shutout, 3 hits, 1 walk, 10 strikeouts,
TigersVictoryCigar.

One of the most impressive(and surprising) starts for a Tiger this year!!!! Well done Dirty Sanchez!!!

Sanchez's 5th career shutout and 7th career complete game. Also reached double-digits in Ks for the 4th time.

Anibal Sanchez is 1st Tigers pitcher not named Verlander to throw shutout w/ 10+ K and 3 hits or fewer since Jeff Weaver in 2002.

When Sanchez goes the distance, he dominates. Has allowed only 19 hits in 62.0 innings in his seven career complete games.

Has anyone heard of a prospect named wil myers catcher in royals system.. I am getting major offers for one of his cards and i have never heard of him?

One of those being a no-hitter.

They moved him to the outfield 2 years ago when they decided Perez was their catcher of the future
