Tigers vs. Royals July 30, 2020 Game 7

Shoot. 3-2 Kc. Going on contact. Nice play by to get the lead runner. Cisnero not very sharp.

CJ Cron has been held hitless vs KC in all 4 games, after hitting 2 homers w/4 RBIs vs @ Cinci.

There really are few Tiger hitters having great plate appearances right now. Team struggles to put hits together. Still have 6 outs.

Not sure I let a 0-16 guy bat here. Really bad decision by our manager. Now 0-17. Sadly Jamier’s swing is just ruined now.

Well
4-3 now. Game was winnable that is for sure. Is it time to move on from Jaimer, and Christian, and give someone else a shot ?

Baseball is just so strange from years ago. I guess that stems from being so bad in recent years but it’s all or nothing right now for Tiger hitters it seems.

In any other nornal season with a good team, Candelario would be on the verge of being DFAed.

I guess homers Are the thing.

Before anyone looks it up can these stats win a World Series ? Remember it was a pitchers decade. Before saying no.

. 235 .307 .385 .692

These hitting stats were the 1968 tigers. Yeah I know the mound was a issue too.

But they had 185 homers. Which was 52 higher then The next mlb team Baltimore who was at 133. Third place team was the Cubs at 130.

Tigers were 4th in walks and first in RBI’s. Last in stolen bases.

Earl weaver was right. 3 run blast are something.

Now he just gets sent to Toledo to hang out with the other guys. I see James McCann is 4-8 in two games. I bet he was excited to get away from Tiger coaching.
