Andy Dirks still wearing boot, not guessing at a timetable for returning from Achilles strain. Looking as if August might be his best shot.

I can understand Raburn starting in right,Boesch ain't been hitting shit lately... but hitting 6th hmm

Perhaps the Tigers are "showcasing" Raburn as part of a possible trade package. j/k lol

Prince Fielder is in the Home Run Derby, as announced on ESPN by AL captain Robinson Cano with Trumbo, Jose Bautista.

I think it was Jennifer Hammond who asked him about possibly entering the home run derby and Prince replied we'll see, why not....I know I'm not here for my fantastic glove.

Or it could be because Raburn has actually hit very well since coming back?

I would not mind seeing him 5th when he plays rather than dumb-dumb Young.

Fister thinks he's Verlander. LOL K's the side.

OK, remember nobody jinx Fister's no hitter here by mentioning anything about it...

Looks like Delmon is bringing his hands in farther before the pitch. He used to have his hands reached out over the plate before the pitch. Then would bring them in and start his swing. I'm guessing Harrah's behind it.

Tigers' Player of the Month for June was Austin Jackson.
26 for 82, 16 runs 6 doubles 1 triple 3 homeruns 17 rbi 10 walks 27 k's .317/.398/.524/.922
