Tigers vs. twins Game Thread July 2

Old friend David Pauley 7.36 ERA and 2.11 WHIP pitching with Toronto now... His career took a straight nosedive after he was traded to the Tigers.

If the Tigers don't come back to win here, they'll be 3-12 in this spot in rotation, and 0-for last 7 games when they can get back to .500

Not sure who the last guy is, but Freehan had a number of all star seasons. But did he play 1st?

thought of Rudy York, and someone else said Darrell Evans.

Freehan 11 time All-Star, but don't think he played first in any of them, maybe some in regular season.

Freehan had about a seasons worth of starts at first.

Threw 41 pitches against Texas last week. 5 days rest is plenty recovery time though. The game is still too close to use him.

I can't believe First pitch with a new pitcher!, oh wait that was the twins, first pitch 3rd out, great job coke!

Come on boy's I'm back from the basement!!!!! We have to win tonight!!!!! Think of all the gamblers in Vegas who had the Tigers a lock tonight to get to 40-40!!!!!! All we need is a 3 run blast by someone!!!!

Tigers' No. 6-9 hitters tonight averaging .227, three home runs, 18 RBIs.

The 2003 Tigers hit 153 home runs. This team is on pace to hit 144. :O

Tigers broadcast is starting to do what a few other teams do when Tigers are up, go to some nitwit talking about their team and in the stands.
now Tigers go to shannon hogan with opposing team batting.

That's terrible. Alex and JP haven't hit one in ages. Fielder with only 12 1 game shy of 81. not what we expected that's for sure just to point out a couple

I did not realize Wilson Betmit was batting so good this year...274/.338/.460/.798 with 10 homers and 31 rbi's.. he has played 5 games in left field... To bad he could not play second...
