Tigers vs. twins Game Thread Sept. 22

The Tigers have never had a player finish with 42 HRs, 100 RBI, and a .320 AVG. Miguel Cabrera hit #42 today, has 131 RBI, and a .332 AVG.

Cabrera last 10G: .414 (17-41) with 7HR and 15RBI...last 20G - .378, 10HR and 24RBI.
Miggy4MVP.

When Tigers played Angels here in August, Cabrera trailed by 19 points in batting race...earlier this year, trailed Hamilton by 15 in RBI race, and just six days ago, Cabrera trailed Hamilton by five in battle for HR lead...this finishing push by Cabrera is something special...
Dan Dickerson

How many times has any player (especially in the last 30 years) hit 40 hrs, driven in 130 rbi's and hit .330? Bonds came close but never did that.
