Guess what..DET could re-acuire CJ Cron..for Dollar Tree coupons if they wanted to..he's a FA after the year and COL..is bad..and I understand why DET would have zero interest..but...hmm..Schoop at 2B..Cron at 1B..lot better lineup for minimal cost..

If both Issac Paredes and Willi Castro don't play at least 40 innings each at 2B before the end of the season..consider it a missed opportunity..

They were 0 for 2 on this..guess who was the better defensive 2B..guess who is not a MLB caliber infielder..guess who figured out the answer regarding both these players ability to play 2B in 2021..amazing how AJ Hinch has to always do the work the Avila FO had years to do.

Detroit Tigers are dropping like flies. Two more players to the IL - Urena and Goodrum.

As we wrote about last week, the difference between competitive and struggling teams at the end of the year all come down to how much depth you have in the system. Unless players return soon and stay healthy, this ain't gonna be a pretty second half for the Detroit Tigers.
