Gameday.

Has Stewart been sent away yet ? It’s time to give Greene a shot.

Greene is 19. Youre not gonna see him this year or likely next year either.

Al Kaline was pretty young too. May as well try something we are not getting much out of our outfield not named Reyes.

God darn it. The twins have been swing at the first pitch a lot and we don’t make adjustments.

Mize comes out for the 5th promptly gives up a grooved fastball double.

Twins fifth

2b Mize pulled.
2b 4-3. Twins. Twins are so aggressive.
Bb
Bb Bases loaded no outs.
Single scores 2 runs. 5-2 first out tagged at home.
1 out I’m heading to the park with my kids dogs I’m watching.

Sergio Alc?ntara is the first Tigers player to homer in his first Major League at-bat since Daniel Norris on 8/19/2015 at Chicago (NL). The last position player to do so was Reggie Sanders on 9/1/1974 vs. Oakland.

Alc?ntara is also the 10th Tiger in franchise history to homer in his Major League debut and first since Wilkin Ramirez on 5/20/2009 vs. Texas.

Miguel Cabrera's 13-game hitting streak is his longest since May 13-26, 2015.

Very cool.

Here is a list of first hit homers. Not sure how current the list is. Looks good.

53 now in the AL.
72 in the NL
