The Tigers have been playing for 2 months now. Let?s continue the evaluation of each player that we first did back in early May.

Some of the categories have changed slightly to take into account that each player has a bigger performance sample. But we?ve also added info tracking their movement. Did they move up or down the list? We?ll let you know.
And if there?s no notation, then there?s been no change in their grading level. Thirty players, including a couple on the IL. What exactly have Holly and Kurt been seeing?

Just curious about all you baseball analysts who feel Miguel Cabrera needs to be moved down in the lineup..you do grasp Detroit has 5 positions ranked 26th or worse in offensive WAR...and will win 70 or fewer games...and who ya gonna promote above Miguel..let me know.

well MGorosh...how about anybody. Among "every day players", Miggy has the worst BA, OBP, and OPS. On a team that consists of a bunch of shitty hitters, he is the shittiest. Move him down to 9th.

7th or 8th I say move him down to 7th or 8th. IMO his timing is off he looks to have slowed down in getting the foot down the giddy up in the mechanism just isn't there. Or to the valid point of who do you move to 4th then, good point, there is no clean up power on the team and Al isn't really concerned with winning anyway so it makes no difference.


This may be Miggy's last year given the current outlook for 2022 if he doesn't hit the milestones this year it may just end up short, oh well doesn't need to hit 500/3000 for HOF anyway that's already locked in IMO.

AJ has been preaching that players earn their playing time. It should be the same with where they bat in the order...or if they get in the lineup at all.
