white sox brass have built a damn good team, unlike our clowncar of clods. No shame in losing to a likely WS contender this year or next, barring injuries and/or sickness.


Much as I dislike the southsiders, many of their fans joined in on our ESPN messageboard during the postseason of '06 to root for the Tigers. No tribe or royals fan did, although some twins fans also had, IIRC. After the Tigers lost in the WS to the cardinals, some of us went over to their boards to thank those members for what they did.


One of the coolest things that I still remember from that postseason, was what I read on our board that was inundated with congrats from fans of almost every MLB team, after the Tigers had beaten the hated yankees in the ALDS, was one post in particular that read "Somewhere in India right now, a man is smiling!".

But Cameron dazzled with his first and second hits as a Major Leaguer last night, the former scoring two, and Mize pitched 5 no hit innings, that is a good sign from those two. Plus they made the sox starter giolito work and sweat bullets.

One of our best posters on the old ESPN message board, was a Twins fan. I can not ever remember his name . Kalinecountry, will come up with it, last time I asked he did anyway. Seems like he had his own thread and did a good job of keeping up on the Tigers. I really miss his commits. As he really told it as it was no smoke and mirrors. Then again an out side look sends a better picture. I do miss a many of the old posters fro the espn board they had a great thing going and imo messed it up.
