Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread Sept. 11

Can anyone watching the Sox feed please describe the Hawk's reactions?

I bet they were priceless.

I can't stomach that douche nozzle for more than 30 seconds.

Me either except when something like that happens. Then it's gold.

I can almost hear the Dag-Gummit! from here.

whoever tought boesch to swing by doing a squat and flailing his arms out should be fired.

Since the "Can't-play-Delmon-vs.-Masterson-or-he-might-cool-off" controversy, DY is hitting .174 (4-for-23) w/ 9K, 2 GIDP,

Peavy out and a lefty in, pull Boesch for Garcia.

Pull Delmon for the bat boy.

I remember Avila being rather hard to strike out last year.

I was really just talking in general. When he swung at that one pitch 2 feet out of the zone it just made me think that thought about all catchers.

He's probably trying too hard to hit stuff, Avila still has one of the better eyes on the team.

Does seem to have trouble making contact this year though.

That holds true for Avila, for the most part.

Of players with at least 300 PA, only 6 players swing at less pitches out of the zone than Avila does.

Two of them (Santana, and Russell) are catchers.

He has been very, very quiet the last couple innings. When Miggy hit it out, he said "3 to 2" about the same time the ball cleared the infield...
