Tigers vs. whitesox Game Thread Sept. 12

and somehow only 14 pitches for floyd. 2 hits on a Tigers pitcher and he's up near thirty.

Very indecisive swings up there from Prince, Gavin going to the off speed stuff when ahead of the hitters. Might want to jump on the FB guys. Does Prince have a grip on his bat? like you see on golf clubs or metal bats? If sure looked like it does.

Hard to believe, That the Tiger's #5 batters have only 66 RBI's with 4 .300+ hitters in front of them!

Sweet, gunned him down.

Now do soemthing with the bat Alex.

Glad to see we're letting Floyd have his way with us again.

Steve Stone and the Hawk are drunk, right?

They just said that we were "catching a break" by Raburn not playing...lol.

Oh, and Boesch is 0-18 against Floyd i guess (if i heard that right). Why isn't Berry playing? I though Leyland was all about the numbers? lol.

Good point, should be going with Berry here tonight over BB given the numbers. 0-17 vs a chance.

Here's Berry's numbers in the second half: .220/.275/.290/.565 and almost 1/3 of his AB's in the second half have ended in K's.

I'm not saying Boesch was a good idea.

I'm saying Berry is terrible and should never start, just pinch run.

Should have started Garcia.

That would be the hack brothers

In 28 AB's JP had 7 RBI's compaired to DY 54 in 434 and BB's (2) in 52 AB's. AD got 3 in 10 AB's. So you pro rate that all out and Young should have over 100/114 with using JP and Andy's small sample stats. These are the only 4 out of 18 used in the 5 spot, that have gotten an RBI.

It really been DY not getting it done! IMO they should try Dirks one more time.

I agree, I mentioned that on the first page of this game thread. Leyland is a clown though and probably will never give the kid an AB vs a righty.
