Luckily our pitching bailed out Lamont. By the time Omar stepped on 3rd, Granderson was just picking up the ball. Omar was stopped by the time he stepped on 3rd. If he was running full speed the whole time, he would score easily and maybe without a throw to the plate.

was listening to the radio last night right before the game and they were talking to a yanks fan (which is the usual because its a NY show) and he honestly thought A-Rod should be traded for Felix Hernandez with a package of prospects with A-Rod. Now...he was laughed out of the building after he said that but it goes to show the mentality of their fans...that they got it like that. Hopefully this pumps a little more humility into their team/fanbase.

So you figure a team would be able to recoup some of their salary when a player is on 'roids like A. Rodriquez is. He still has 5 years left, that's painful.
