Tigers vs. yankees ALCS Game Thread Oct. 14

whew. delmon tried his best to hit into a DP, im glad cano helped us out there.

now will 1 run be enough?

Berry leads it off with a drive over granderson's head and a ground rule double bounced into the cf stands,

Cabrera getting pounded inside grounds it foul, fastball fouled back, slider low away, chases slider low again and just gets a piece of the pitch, kuroda taking alot of time martin goes out to talk again, slider low and away and Miggy protects the plate line drive single to right and Berry to third,

kuroda around 80 pitches 3 days rest bullpen stirring,

Fielder fastball high, swings and misses a splitter, chases another and grounds it foul shit, check swing no strike call shocking call from ump, ball bounces up to the plate full count, and he shits himself chasing another splitter, amazing, hasn't had bad at bat like that in a long time,

Young needs his playoff magic again, check swing foul, fastball swings and misses, be ready for a slider away, fly foul down first just missed catching, dumb fan with plumbers crack cost him, grounder to short and flip to second Cabrera coming into second and cano drops the ball after the force and Berry scores, Wow,

Tigers lead 1 - 0,

Dirks grounder to short,

kuroda with 89/90 pitches,

Tigers lead 1 - 0.

HELL no lmao especially when you factor in we have to get through the 8th with Benoit on the mound lol.

Gonna start calling Dirks "Delmon, Jr."....or "White Delmon"....what do you think?

I am going to be Captain Obvious here but it would be huge if Sanchez could keep them from scoring this inning after the Tigers finally break through

That's always the key...have a shutdown inning after your team scores for you.

so far In the postseason, Yankees are 52 for 248 (.210) with a .285 OBP and .333 SLG. During the regular season: .265/.337/.453.

That looked like strike 3...Avila dropped it. That was a definite strike.
