Yankees 3 - Tigers 0: Brieske battles, bats baffled by Luis Severino.
Beau Brieske put together his most impressive outing of the year, but another Yankees? ace dominated a feeble Tigers? lineup.

Beau Brieske shines, but Tigers still can't solve Yankees pitching.

DEEPER DISCUSSIONS.
Totally Tigers

Recently, the Tigers game was streamed for free on YouTube. It was broadcast by Scott Braun (mid 30?s) and Carlos Pena (mid 40?s), who offered a more contemporary take on the game that included information about other teams as well as the two being featured.

They offered both positive and negative analyses of the Tigers and their opponent. But they also asked for fan input and questions via either text, Twitter or other forms of social media.

Those watching also had the ability to participate in conversational threads on YouTube with other fans during the game.

Towards the end of the game, the hosts asked fans to vote for the Player of the Game and provided the final results.

All of this in stark contrast to the Tigers? regular broadcasters who range in age from their late 50?s to late 60?s and regularly regale fans with stories about former Tiger teams from the last 50 years.

It is an insular format that doesn?t allow for fans to have any input, send in questions or the ability to vote.

The Bally team offers their own ?Pick the Stick? game but fan participation is entirely ignored.

Which format appeals to you the most? Which one would you prefer watching?

Just in case you didn?t see the game, or want to check it out, here is the link:

Today?s blog addresses this dilemma and allows readers to share their thoughts in more detail. And hopefully, to actively engage with other by responding to their posts and creating back-and-forth discussion threads. The more the merrier!

For this one blog only, you?ve got 6 sentences max to share your thoughts.
Of course, you can respond to as many other readers as you want.

TT will supply the ammunition. One thought-provoking question. Several options provided. One hard choice to be selected. One vote.
Ready?

Which broadcast format appeals the most to you?

1. Traditional one in which fans are non-participants.

2. More modern one in which fans can interact with hosts and vote.
