I voted split. The way they are playing I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox take it 3-1 but for some reason the Tigers have their number.

It will be hard to sweep and even take 3 considering two of our pitchers are flyball pitchers, and routine flyouts in CoPa will be homeruns there.

Add the fact they actually have more then 3 guys who can hit a ball to the outfield and I'll be happy with a split.

I think if they lose 3 of 4 they lose the division. I know that there is still a lot of baseball left but they would be 4 back with 19 to play. Scherzer or Fister should win. It will be up to JV to get the split.....if they are losing the series 1-2 when he takes the mound he NEEDS to step up!

He's has been good here, plus gets ground balls, and that's what we need.

Scherzer also owns the Sox, and I'd say we have a 50-50 chance to win JV-Sale too, but I'm worried about Fister.

I was going on the assumption (stupidly) that he would get some runs behind him off his shitty counterpart.

He was impressive at times though, stranding a runner at 3rd 3 times.

But I have no faith now in the offense (or even Cabrera/Fielder), so my prediction still hold, last night was our best chance to do something and get us motivated, now we're taking on water fast.

No there isn't, after this series what, 3 weeks? 4 down won't be easy with the way this team has been playing. Regardless what happened last year with the Red Sox and Braves it happens rarely. 4 games is a big lead if it plays out that way.
