Not sure what you mean by "think about it." And I didn't see the play. But no umpire is going to make that up, he certainly interfered with the catcher in an attempt to retire a stealing base runner, otherwise he doesn't call that on himself.

Well, as I said before, think about it. I am scratching my head because I didn't see any sign of umpire interference on the initial replays; I would love to see that, but I wasn't recording the game, I was in the gym watching it on a television there. My post was also an expression of frustration, in that even without any interference, it looked to me like that Baez had easily stolen 2nd base.
