Which part of his timeline does he return to the river of his birth to spawn and die?

The only notable thing I have to add here is that I was at a game in Tiger Stadium as a kid, and we had an entire section heckling Tim Salmon. We were calling him Timmy Tuna, saying stuff about his mom, saying he sucked, etc. He was getting pissed about it, and started flipping us off behind his back. That only fueled the fire for more taunting. Finally, he got really pissed and turned around and yelled at everybody. He said something really whiny like, "I don't understand why you guys won't just leave me alone, I'm trying to play baseball out here" and looked like he was gonna start crying. Pretty much everybody started laughing hysterically at that point. Their manager either pulled him or changed his position for the next inning.
